SURVISION, world leader in the field of integrated automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras, has been selected by Autoroutes Du Maroc to supply 500 license plate reading sensors.

The Société Nationale des Autoroutes du Maroc (ADM) is the concessionaire of the Moroccan State responsible for the construction, operation and maintenance of the country’s highways. Since its creation in 1989, ADM has built a motorway network of 1800 km, the second largest motorway network in Africa after South Africa.

SURVISION provides MICROPAK 3, its latest generation ANPR camera. The cameras in the MICROPAK range are specially developed for traditional toll lanes. Fight against fraud, management of subscribers, lost tickets, reinforcement of classification, MICROPAK ANPR cameras allow a spectacular improvement in the operation of motorways. The latest generation of this range of ANPR cameras, thanks to the use of the latest artificial intelligence technologies, and in combination with SURVISION’s supervision platform, the CST (Camera Supervision Tool), provides exceptional performance allowing the implementation of toll payment systems by reading license plates.

The confidence shown by ADM in entrusting us with the supply of such critical equipment illustrates the soundness of SURVISION’s technological approach, based on massive investment in camera hardware and software to seek ever greater performance. “But that’s not enough, we still have to make sure that the sensors are perfectly installed, adjusted and configured and remain so throughout their operation in the toll lanes… that’s the purpose of the CST, Cloud monitoring platform already deployed on more than 3,000 SURVISION ANPR cameras”.
