MARRIOTT HOTEL CESAR CHAVEZ

LPR brings comfort for Hotel Guests parking experience.

The Challenge

Marriott International is one of the largest hotel chains in the world, known for its upscale and luxury hotels that cater to business and leisure travelers, ranging from budget-friendly to luxury properties. This allows the brand to cater to a wide range of travelers, from those on a budget to those looking for a high-end experience.

Marriott Hotels is known for its high level of service and attention to detail. The brand places a strong emphasis on customer service, and guests can expect to be treated with respect and care.

What about Parking?

VIP guests are no longer VIPs when it comes to Parking; Marriott discovered that the parking experience was no different from other commercial parking sites. Many complaints were coming from Parking-related service or security issues. For many luxury sites, Parking seems to be a faraway place where improvements seem too hard to conceive.

Marriot Team knew they needed to use some kind of innovative technology for such a task.

The Solution

The Marriot team saw the opportunity to use LPR technology to enhance the guest experience. Using Survision LPR cameras, Amano CVPS was responsible for installing a new badgeless/ticketless guest access system that associates the room with the license plate on the first visit so guests can leave and return without having to take tickets and pay for every trip.

Results

Now, Marriot Hotel guests can have easy VIP access to Parking without stopping at the barrier for a ticket or payment, all Parking fares would be paid at the checkout.

This system also improves hotel security since every entry/exit and its association with room numbers stays recorded, helping prevent fraud and reporting crimes.

Marrot Hotels Success story is a perfect example of how LPR can easily help operators add value to their service at the same time of improving operational efficiency and security.
